We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills. The successful applicant must have the ability to multi-task. He/she must also have above average skills in MS Word and Excel. The Account Coordinator contributes to MCA’s success by supporting a National Account Manager, Regional Field Managers and in the overall day-to-day customer service to ensure the effective execution of Client objectives in the collection and analysis of competitive retail pricing.

The position encompasses administration, project tracking duties, analyzing and reporting retail data. The Account Coordinator must be committed, detail oriented and a hard worker. This position offers a potential growth opportunity within MCA.

This is a perfect opportunity for a recent University or College Graduate or Administrative Assistant with some retail/merchandising or project management background looking for career advancement.

Position Specifications:

  • Overseeing and coordination of client projects to ensure on-time delivery & accurate field execution
  • Obtaining Project Objectives and Priorities for Field Representatives
  • Database Management
  • Preparing and reviewing correspondence in response to issues and initiatives
  • Ensuring that responses are in keeping with the client service expectations and standards
  • Maintaining open dialogue with Field Audit Service Managers and Filed Auditors to ensure satisfaction and monitoring of needs and requirements
  • Recommending changes as required
  • Administrative initiatives as required
  • Analyze retail data and prepare reports

What we need from you:

  • Equivalent of 1-2 years experiences preferably in Retail and/or Office Environment.
  • Previous experience in grocery market would be an asset
  • Advanced computer skills including MS office and Excel is extremely important
  • Ability to analyze data and proactively respond, attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong team player and proven ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Position requires the ability to handle multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities, often within a short period of time with frequent interruptions and some pressure due to deadlines
  • Respond well to stress and pressure
  • Effective Time management, ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload, as well as meet its commitments
  • Flexible and responsive to change
  • Team Player
