Part time Merchandising Representative – Leading Canadian Brewery

We provide retail service and solutions to many of Canada’s leading Consumer Packaged Goods companies such as: PROCTER AND GAMBLE, HALLMARK CANADA, BLACKHAWK, L’OREAL CANADA, SAFEWAY, FOSTER GRANT, KEURIG and BIC, as well as LEADING RETAILERS: WAL-MART CANADA, CANADIAN TIRE, METRO, and SOBEYS

PART-TIME MERCHANDISING REPRESENTATIVE – LEADING CANADIAN BREWERY

*CALLING ALL UNIVERSITY GRADUATES STUDENTS

  • Thursday – Saturday (12/hrs per week)

Location: Calgary, AB

We are currently looking to recruit a part-time sales merchandising representative to call on Local Beer/Liqour store(s) in the Calgary area on behalf of our client, Canada’s leading North America Brewery Company. Territory includes Midtown Calgary, Shawnessey, South Trail, West Springs, Quarry Park, MacLeod Trail, Kingsland, Kensington, Mewata, Forest Lawn, Richmond Road, and Oakridge.This is a fantastic opportunity for university or community college students to have a fun job to gain experience within the Brewery Industry. Strong possibility for contract extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring stock levels
  • Increasing Brand awareness at shelf level
  • Ensure price points and current program communication
  • Increase product on display from backroom stock
  • Eliminate out of stocks on shelf
  • Focus on key products versus the competitive brand
  • Ensure all price tags are present and correct
  • Check code dates – rotate stock for freshness
  • Remove damaged packaging
  • Identify opportunities – build display and take photos

Qualifications:

  • University and College students ideally 3rd and 4th year
  • 1-2 years retail experience and/or merchandising
  • Liquor/ Brewery/ Hospitality experience is an asset
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs and build displays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ideally candidate should live in the Calgary area

*Competitive Hourly wage plus kilometers and completion bonus*
